An opening for an Adult Nurse Practitioner to join a dedicated team at a clinic in New York, New York.

About the Position:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p
• Call Requirement: 1 month at a time by phone, 2 months per year
• Daily Volume: 14 per day
• Spanish-speakers preferred, interpreter available
• EMR: eClinicalWorks
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Nurse Practitioner New York state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• One year of work experience as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
