A medical center in New York City has an opening for a Certified Nurse Midwife to assist their team.

Opportunity Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts
• 1,200 annual deliveries
• Daily Census: 9 patients + babies
• EMR: Epic
• Board-certification required
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered WAC (Women & Children) New York state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited WAC (Women & Children) program
• One year of work experience as WAC (Women & Children)
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
