Partnered with a hospital in central Minnesota that has an opportunity for a skilled CRNA to provide short-term locum coverage.

Opportunity Overview:

• Schedule: 5x 8-hour shifts or 4x 10-hour shifts
• No call required
• Patient Volume: Varies by case type, 1-15 per day
• Cases: General, endoscopy, orthopedics, spine, OB/GYN, ENT, and eyes
• Will work independently
• Team Structure: 1 MD, 9 CRNAs, 2 anesthesia techs
• EMR: Excellian
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered CRNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists) Minnesota state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited CRNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists) program
• One year of work experience as CRNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists)
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
