 Job Description

A little about the role
Our ECIS Team is growing and we have a number of new roles where you will be providing client-centred, strengths-based services to young children with a disability or developmental delay. We value the importance of a transdisciplinary model of practice. You will work with NDIS funded children and their families to support them through their journey during early childhood. As a part of a collaborative and dynamic team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a high quality, evidence based Early Childhood Intervention and Paediatric Physiotherapy service that is co-designed with the family.  
  • Embracing innovation and responsiveness. 
  • Using the Key Worker model in partnership and collaboration with all those associated with the child/family to provide timely and developmentally appropriate services. 

About you
You will either have experience or a keen interest in Paediatric Physiotherapy with evidence of successful team development and growth. We are looking for people who have:

  • Bachelor or Master of Physiotherapy, AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration and well developed clinical skills in Paediatric Physiotherapy 
  • Ability and passion to work with young children and their families
  • The ability to form a good working relationship with your colleagues, children and families 
  • Awareness of the key worker model,  transdisciplinary practice and family centred practice (desirable) 
  • Knowledge and experience in delivering services under the NDIS (desirable)

Desired Skills and Experience

The fine print

  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check, International Police Check (if applicable), hold a valid WWCC and NDIS Worker Clearance Check  
  • Full driver license and travel between sites required  
  • Registration with relevant professional body (AHPRA), Relevant working rights and Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccination status or valid medical exemption essential for this role
  • 0.6 FTE to Full Time Available
