University Health System is the proud hospital partner of the distinguished LSU Shreveport School of Medicine. University Health has two acute care hospitals in Shreveport and Monroe, and offers the latest developments in medical care in North Louisiana. Our academic teaching hospital maintains a strong commitment to state-of-the art treatment, clinical research, community education and prevention programs.
Both hospital campuses combined offer over 700 licensed beds, 28,000 annual admissions, 468,000 annual outpatient clinic visits and combined revenue of over $480 million. Specialty services include regional trauma centers, burn center, Feist-Weiller cancer center, St. Jude affiliation and a Children’s Hospital.
